The 5.7L Gen 3 Hemi crate engine is rated at 383hp, perfect for some added performance and reliability. It does not have MDS which is desirable for those of you who know!
The older TKO 5-speed transmissions are fairly notchy to shift, especially at the higher RPM that Gen 3 Hemi's spin to.. So, the T56 Magnum WAS the better choice. Now with the Tremec TKX 5-speed available, this robust transmission is rated at 600lb ft of torque, comes in a much more compact package, AND is able to withstand 7,500rpm shifts! What more could you ask for?
Now, we will say.... If you're looking to make bigger power, the T56 Magnum (or possibly a built up one) is the better choice. (Such as a built up Hellcat, or Redeye crate).

- Mopar Performance 5.7L wiring harness & ECM kit
- Lakewood aluminum bell housing for Gen 3 Hemi's to TKX
- McLeod single disc Street Pro clutch kit w/steel flywheel & hardware & pilot bearing
- Hydraulic throwout bearing/slave cylinder
- Tremec TKX 5-speed transmission, TCET18085 with the following ratios:
1st: 3.27, 2nd: 1.98, 3rd: 1.34, 4th: 1.00, 5th: .72
