Hooker Clamshell Engine Mounts are now available for Gen 5 LT engines, including the popular LT1, LT2, LT4, LT5, L83, L86, L84, and L87 engines. . These professional quality housings are a two piece, bolt together design featuring heavy-duty 11 gauge steel construction with O.E specs and a durable powder coated finish.

- Clamshell uses Hooker BlackHeart LS/LT 4th Gen F-Body style Poly Inserts to place engine crank centerline and transmission mounting plane in the same position as a stock LS engine
- Works with all Holley LS swap kits that utilize 4th Gen F-Body mounts, allowing installation of a Gen 5 LT engine into a Holley LS swapped vehicle while maintaining the same transmission position and crossmember (Will require new headers).
- These will also work with other frame mounts that use a 98-02 F-Body engine mount and keep the LT engine in the same location as the LS.
- Heavy duty 11 gauge steel construction with reinforcement ribs for strength and durability
- Two piece bolt together design (eliminates the rivet drilling required when using OE mounts)
- Durable powder coated finish
- This kit specifically from Pro Touring Store includes Hooker BlackHeart LS/LT Polyurethane Inserts – P/N’s 71221016HKR (Black) or 71221017HKR (Red), as well as TWO clamshell mounts with hardware, for a complete kit. *Choose color of poly mount in the drop down.
