GM's new Gen V LT direct injected engines are starting to find their way into a large variety of vehicles. They make great power, plus they're very durable and reliable. Unfortunately, the factory oil pans don't always fit or they hang too low for today's hot rods.
Composed of lightweight cast aluminum, it is designed to allow for increased clearance to the ground and chassis. It will fit many GM rear-wheel drive applications originally equipped with a small or big block Chevy engine and factory rear sump pan. Meticulously designed, it will mount perfectly to an LT engine and take the stock oil filter.
NOTES
- Ideal for Camaro/Firebird ('67-'92), Nova/Apollo/Ventura/Omega ('68-'74), GM A-body ('64-'72), G-body ('78-'87), and GM Full-size trucks ('73-'87) applications*
- Engine position (fore/aft or height) may need to be adjusted for clearance, depending on application
- Requires the use of LT style dipstick and tube: GM #12661062 and 12678823, respectively
- Pan does not have boss for temperature sensor
