These hood vents were specifically designed for the 2nd Generation Camaro tear drop style hood scoop commonly found on 80/81 models but can be fit to earlier models if you have a tear drop scoop. These are contoured to work with the factory shape of the hood and designed to be installed 8 inches from the front edge of the hood which allow it to vent directly behind the radiator. Also, will help with the high pressure zone usually common underneath the hood.
INSTALLATION:
Two holes need to be cut into the factory hood and mounting hardware to be selected whether it be rivets, rivet nuts, through bolts, etc.
You will need to bend the louvers to your desired angle, done with simple hand tools.
