The OEM water-to-oil cooler system used on the Gen V LT1 and LT4 wet sump crate engines (*or any Gen V with a Gen 6 Camaro Oil Pan 2016+) are insufficient for spirited use which leads to overheating. Not to mention the factory oil cooler interferes with most header systems on Pro-touring builds. This kit comes with everything needed to cap off the quick-connect hose barb fitting on your water pump and properly block off/bypass the oil passages used by the factory cooler.
It’s recommended to run a remote oil cooler if you're going to be doing any kind of aggressive driving/racing. We have a separate plate for doing this.
Oil Cooler Delete Kit Includes:
- 1 x 5/8'' ID Billet water pump cap w/quick connect clip
- 1 x black billet oil cooler bypass plate (includes O rings and mounting hardware)
- ***If you are installing to an actual 2016+ Camaro you will also need a 5/8" rubber cap for the radiator. If you need this please add it to the notes of your order & we will include it!***
