We at Pro Touring Store have put together the ultimate engine & manual trans package for you Mopar enthusiasts!
The 6.4L Gen 3 Hemi crate engine is rated at 485hp, perfect for that pro-touring ride, with modern reliability! It does not have MDS which is desirable for those of you who know! The 6.4L Hemi came in all of the SRT version vehicles including the Charger, Challenger, Durango, Jeep Grand Cherokee, etc.
The older TKO 5-speed transmissions are fairly notchy to shift, especially at the higher RPM that Gen 3 Hemi's spin to.. So, the T56 Magnum WAS the better choice. Now with the Tremec TKX 5-speed available, this robust transmission is rated at 600lb ft of torque, comes in a much more compact package, AND is able to withstand 7,500rpm shifts! What more could you ask for?
Now, we will say.... If you're looking to make bigger power, the T56 Magnum (or possibly a built up one) is the better choice. (Such as a built up Hellcat, or Redeye crate).

- Mopar Performance 6.4L wiring harness & ECM kit
- Lakewood aluminum bell housing for Gen 3 Hemi's to TKX
- McLeod single disc Street Pro clutch kit w/steel flywheel & hardware & pilot bearing
- Hydraulic throwout bearing/slave cylinder
- Tremec TKX 5-speed transmission, TCET17765 with the following ratios:
1st: 2.87, 2nd: 1.89, 3rd: 1.28, 4th: 1.00, 5th: .68
