Constructed from hand-wrapped, 4-ply, high-grade silicone, these elbows feature fantastic temperature resistance and are rated for -65 degrees F to 350 degrees F. Vibrant Performance reinforced elbows are strong and reliable--they won't swell or burst under extreme conditions. Vibrant Performance offers these reinforced silicone elbows in a variety of sizes and lengths in straight, 45 degree and 90 degree styles to meet your fabrication needs.
NOTE FROM PTS: These silicone couplers may be a little more expensive than the eBay specials you've seen. However, the quality in the Vibrant hoses is unmatched. They are very consistent in both the outer wrap and color. We use them on air intake components but have also used them with great success on boosted applications.
These are also suitable for water and can be used in your cooling systems. NOT recommended for use with oil or gas as it will swell.
Since they're silicone, a small amount of silicone grease or spray can be applied to the inner lip to aid installation onto your intake pipes.
